Element Four is a marketing and Research and Development company focused on the development of atmospheric water generators, or what we prefer to call WaterMills.
While the vast majority of our planet is covered with water, only 2.5% is fresh, and less than 1% is readily accessible to humans. One in five people lack safe drinking water. The water wars will only intensify in the next ten years, as places like the Colorado River Basin reach their driest points in memory. Meanwhile, landfills are filling up with plastic water bottles.
The WaterMill is Element Four's solution for the average home. It draws moisture from the air outside and turns it into pure, fresh drinking water. Each WaterMill can supply enough drinking water to meet the daily needs of a family of six at a fraction of the cost of bottled water.
It's an elegant, compact and sustainable solution to the everyday water needs of consumers. The core technology of the WaterMill will be used to develop an entire line of products, for use on and off the grid. There are an almost infinite number of situations where an on-hand source of fresh water is vital, including emergency and disaster relief, commercial, government and agricultural applications, and remote recreational activities.
Based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Element Four continues to establish global partnerships with water distributors and licensees in Japan, Australia, the United States, Canada, the European Union and Africa.
The World Market
By 2025, almost 9 billion humans will share the same, finite amount of fresh water. The majority of these people will be living close together in the world's increasingly crowded cities, putting enormous pressure on local water supplies. The water infrastructure in most cities is outdated and would cost billions to replace. The water from 80% of the World's rivers is polluted and requires treatment before consuming. How do we quench the thirst of our growing population without further damaging the rivers and lakes that sustain our environment? Our answer is the WaterMill.
Element Four
Freedom Water was a hydrologic research and development company based in Kelowna, British Columbia. We rebranded and became Element Four in 2008 when we expanded into the consumer market with our first product, the WaterMill.
What we do
